My kids and I fell in love with Mickey-shaped waffles on a trip to Disneyland when they were little. Back then, the only shape you could make at home was round or square, so the Disney one’s were really unique. Now you can make just about any shape with a waffle maker called the Tasty Baker! (more…)

Little Adventures has released three traditional gowns and one deluxe gown that are as comfortable as they are adorable! All Little Adventures dress-up costumes feature rolled and finished hems (unlike costumes which generally have serged seams and hems) and no itchy underskirts. These are quality costumes meant for everyday play! They’re machine washable (please follow the directions on the label) and since the bodices are made of a stretchy fabric they’re easy to put on and take off – no buttons or other fasteners to get in the way of fun time.
Each dress has a matching American Girl Size Doll dress available separately – Retail $15.99
The three new traditional dresses are:
- Arabian Princesses (ala Jasmine of Disney fame) – This Arabian princess with its great lilac color and gold accents gives it a true Eastern flavor. Its bodice is made from crushed velvet and a soft gold stretch fabric. The sleeves are 3/4 length and have a real Arabian flair. The pants are soft and comfortable made of china silk and gold stretch. It is adorned with amazing and unusual trims. It is topped off with a gem at the neckline for a truly royal look.
- Parisian Princess (somewhat like Barbie’s Pink Pauper) The bodice is made of soft crushed velvet with an inset of crushed ivory velvet. The trims are gold and pink ribbon. The puffs are abundant and trimmed with an ivory ruffle. The ¾ length sleeve is made of crushed velvet and has a double china silk ruffle.
- Snow White – This finely detailed Snow White dress is another fairytale classic. The luxurious navy blue bodice and red sleeves are made from stretch crushed velvet and are adorned with intricate gold trim and a beautiful red rose. The skirt is cheery yellow china silk wrapped at the waist with elegant red ribbon to complete this timeless design.
Retail is $26.99
