The success of Disney Junior since it’s launch just this past February has been phenomenal!  Backed by their quality programming, the channel continues to grow and is breaking all previous records for Disney Channels preschool programming.  They’re rocking with amazingly popular shows like “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.”  This fun show has become the #1 cable series show for boys ages 2- 5 and it looks like it’s going to finish out the year as the #1 Disney Channel preschool series ever.  It’s one of the most co-viewed preschool series with over 45% of the moms and kids watching it together.   We love that!

Now the Pirates have put together an upcoming holiday episode that’s sure to become a family tradition. In this new show, titled ” It’s A Winter Never Land! / Hook On Ice,” Jake, Issy, and Cubby are left presents by Peter Pan to celebrate Winter Treasure Day.  Additionally, Captain Hook asks Jake and the crew to participate in a winter treasure hunt.  This special holiday show premiers on Friday, December 2 (8:30-9:00 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
