We love Wayne Brady. Sure, he’s talented and handsome, and rich….but none of that seems to have gone to his head. He just seems to be the kind of person who’s happy to be alive and his joy seems infections. This zest for life is so evident in his Radio Wayne CD released this past April.
Radio Wayne is music geared for kids, that adults will love as well. The CD is a mix of R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop and even though it’s meant for kids, it’s clever and smart and it never feels juvenile. Kids will sing along and dance to this great mix of music and you won’t mind them playing it over and over because it’s just so good.
What are our favorites songs on the Radio Wayne CD? We love them all, but we came up with our top five:
- “The High-Low” a clapping song that your child will not be able to resist dancing too.
- We also love “Good Morning (All Over The World)” with a reggae-type beat. It’s the kind of song that could become a classic in your home for easing sleepyheads out of bed.
- There’s also a cover of “Talk to the Animals” that’s been updated and Wayne-ized! Delightful!
- ”Greedy Gus” will remind kids that sharing makes for a better relationship.
- “You Are What You Eat” Wayne sings about the benefit of choosing the right foods, but he’s never preachy, just educational.
