Little Adventures 2012 Costume Release – Blue Parisian and Bride

Here are the first two costumes released for the 2012 Holiday and Halloween season by Little Adventures, the premier costume maker for girls, toddlers, and boys dress-up clothes. All of the Little Adventure’s costumes are washable and comfortable.
New Blue Barbie Costume and Bride for 2012 from Little Adventures
The Parisian Princess dress-up costume is blue and is as nice as their more expensive deluxe line of costumes. This Paris princess has a bodice made of soft crushed velvet which is detailed with an inset of crushed ivory velvet and finished with silver ribbion trim. The full-length long sleeves are made of crushed velvet with detailed China Silk (polyester) ruffles.
The Princess Bride costume is a perfectly sweet wedding gown with its white velvet and satin bodice but it’s also perfect for a medieval princess. Add the optional veil or cone hat. The dress is finished with a ruched satin inset and elegant gold trims and ribbons. The sleeves have tucks and rosebuds as well. The skirt as a gold foil printed inset and the dress rimmed throughout with a beautiful gold and white braid trim.

- Small – 1-3 years old, child size 2T, 27″ total length
- Medium 3-5 years old, child size 4, 32″ total length
- Large 5-7 years old, child size 6, 37″ total length

Allermates Wristband Styles
AllerMates were invented by a mother with a child who has multiple food allergies. She was aggravated by the absence of allergy-related kid-friendly goods so she developed AllerMates. AllerMates is a new type of vivid, cool, whimsical character-driven silicone wristbands, dog tags, and lunch boxes that children will embrace.
Now parents of children with allergies can benefit from the knowledge of knowing their youngsters are better shielded from unwelcome allergens whenever they wear or utilize AllerMates products out and about in destinations like camp, during summer travel, at school or daycare, or while attending parties and sleep-overs.

TV on DVD: Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files Available Now

Disney has just realeased a new home video that incldues seven episodes of their #1 animated series Phineas and Ferb. These espisodes feature Perry the Platypus (aka Agent P) as he works to thwart his evil nemesis Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Agent P has some groovy gadgets to help him, but of course things don’t always go as planned for this cute little Platypus.

Movies: Princess Diaries Series 10th Anniversary DVD and Blu-ray Set

The Princess Diaries 10th Anniversary Blu-ray Release
It’s difficult to believe it’s been a decade since the Disney film, The Princess Diaries, hit the theaters. To commemorate this wonderful anniversary, Disney is releasing the film for the first time ever on Blu-ray and they’ve bundled it with its sequel Princess Diaries 2 – Royal Engagement! I swear time has a way of speeding up and running together. It seems like just yesterday that I was trying to convince my then 14 and 16-year olds that they needed to go with me to see the film. That never happened but I went and I loved every minute of it; their loss.
For those who haven’t had an opportunity to share these films with the family, now is a good time to make it happen. They’re a modern-day fairy tale that stars the spectacular Academy Award®-Winning Actress Julie Andrews and her contemporary, Anne Hathaway. The story is pure fantasy; however, the relationship between these two women is utterly believable. Andrews play the proper royal grandmother to Hathaway’s coming-of-age teen. Ultimately the story is about making your dreams come true.
